Steps to Request Account Deletion

To delete your OneTap account, follow these simple steps:

  1. Send an Email: Email our support team at support@onetapmaintenance.com with the subject line: “Account Deletion Request”.
  2. Include Your Details: In the email, provide the following information:
    • Your full name.
    • The email address associated with your OneTap account.
    • A brief confirmation stating you wish to delete your account and all associated data.
  3. Wait for Confirmation: Our team will process your request and confirm the deletion via email within 7 business days.

Data Deletion Overview

When your account is deleted, the following types of data will be permanently removed:

  • Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, and any account information you provided.
  • Activity Data: Maintenance requests, messages, and other interactions logged in your account.
  • Device and Technical Data: Any device-related or session information linked to your account.

Exceptions and Retention Periods

While most of your data will be permanently deleted, certain information may be retained temporarily or indefinitely due to legal, regulatory, or operational requirements:

  • Payment Records: Transactional data may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial regulations.
  • Legal Obligations: Data required to comply with applicable laws or resolve disputes may be retained as necessary.

Once the retention period ends, any remaining data will be securely deleted.

Important Notes

  • Deleting your account is irreversible. All account data and history will be permanently erased and cannot be restored.
